Zachary Lane is a history buff who writes stories about the old west. So far, there are no notches on his “awards to author” gun. But who knows, maybe someday. With one book series completed, he keeps cranking out new pages for another. This time, he follows the adventures of two friends along the Underground Railroad. 

He still lives in Nebraska where he enjoys walks with his wife, playing with grandchildren, grilling on summer’s evenings, smoking ribs and pork butts and stretching his imagination by writing new stories about early Nebraska.
